I found a great party Decoration idea from Martha Stewart Crafts this week and decided to make some of the Paper Flowers out of double sided 12" scrapbooking paper. I used 4 sheets of S.E.I.s Decorator series paper called Medallion to make the really full flower, it had a fabulous mosaic, kaleidoscope effect from the pattern of the paper!

I got my new issue of Somerset Home in the mail yesterday! I was really excited to be featured again in a Somerset publication! I painted and decoupaged vintage clothes pins for this issue and can’t wait to use them to display my cards with. You can check out the 2008 issue HERE.

When I heard that Novel Approach was having an ATC class I signed up right away because Artist Trading Cards are so much fun and I needed to replenish my stash. I had a lot of fun working on these. The class was 3 hours and had minimal instructions so it was pretty much play with inks and colors! Some of the techniques I’ve never done before were the Emboss Resist stamping, Luminarte’s Twinkling H2Os, Crayon resist, and using gesso and phone book pages.

I’ve had these pics for a while and thought it was time to share my Fabric books with you. The first 2 pictures are of the book I made on HGTV’s That’s Clever tv show that aired Oct 2006. The 3rd is the demo book I made and sent to them for the final pitch. Being an avid scrapbooker I just had to make a layout with pictures of me and the production experience! You can Check out the book instructions Here.
