What a blast we had last night! There were so many people in Jones Hall it was like being packed as sardines! But the show was awesome and thoroughly enjoyed the music. The Houston Symphony Chorus did a fabulous job, my father in law was one of them, and they nailed the songs! Check out Video Games Live for more dates.

Our 4th of July here in Texas was a blast watching fireworks over the beach. We also had a gorgeous sunset that night so of course I had to snap that too! Just thought you would enjoy these!

"For the First time in my Adult Life I’m really proud of my Country"

These words were spoken by Michelle Obama, wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama, not Once, but Twice this year in speeches made around the country. Well, I’m proud to say that I have Always been proud of my country! When you take pride in something, you honor it, you respect it, you take care of it, you support it, you love it, you belong to it, you love, and would die for it! Why? Because FREEDOM! And also for all of the men and women through the centuries who fought for that freedom. It came at a very high price, and so in loving your country you show your respect and appreciation for those lives. They meant something! The freedom I now have to speak, to worship, to vote, all is because of them.
