Art Goodies!

Pretty paper dolls
collage sheet

I got some new art goodies on Friday and I can’t wait to get making stuff with them. First, I opened a package from Art Chix Studio and found some gorgeous collage sheets, Pretty Paper dolls, Delightful eggs, and Lovely Lens. All are going to be used for some spring time and Easter art work!

Next, I got to visit one of my favorite stores in Friendswood, Novel Approach and check out the new interior and pick up some supplies. I couldn’t believe they actually had a pretty package of ribbon from My Little Shoebox the very same color way as the ink I was buying! How cool is that?!

  • Red Envelope Day March 31st, 2009

    1 blog post 004

I wanted to share real quick my Red Envelope day envelopes before I mail these out. March 31st is Red Envelope day, showing support for the unborn lost to Abortion by mailing out envelopes to the president. It was great to get involved with this organization and all of the other individuals that believe there is just too much abortion everyday, it’s now our cultures norm. If you would like to check it out www.redenvelopeday.com or you can friend them on Facebook.

  • Pregnancy Picks for 2009

    Baby Gap Shirred eyelet Dress

In the midst of my second trimester I thought I would share some of my Pregnancy picks for 2009. Awesome mama and baby items for the chic girl in all of us. First is the Grecian goddess dress for moms to be, Empire waist Peasant Dress from Max Studio, affordable and easy to throw on after baby comes too. You can’t have a cute spring dress without some pretty sandals, these Mossimo Willa ring Sandals in yellow from Target are really comfy, and that is a relief for my tired feet! Next of course is the BAG! OH my gosh and this Petunia Pickle Bottom bag is to die for! Or well, have a baby for! I stumbled upon the Pistachio color bag at Layla Grace online, the Cake Cosmopolitan line of vintage inspired bags include a coordinating changing pad and 2 styles of straps to use. What goes in the bag? Well, mostly what every expecting girl needs for body and spirit, my picks are GNU Orange Cranberry Fiber bars, really good and make a great midnight snack, and Beth Moore’s new study Stepping Up a journey through the Psalms of Ascent a 7 week study book that makes for a quick daily read. Finally a cute something for baby, I chose the adorable Green shirred eyelet dress from Baby Gap. Everything to get you into the spring of things, or more like ready for spring nesting!

  • Vibrant Spring Cards

I had a blast today playing around with spring time colors while making cards. I followed a golden color way in the cards, and featured eggs and babies.
