I just finished up another Christmas project, the 12 Days of Christmas Decorated ATC Holder. This started out as a kit with 7gypsies ATC Cards and the ATC Receipt holder, I decorated the ATCs with Aleene’s® Original Tacky Glue™ and fine pale green glitter from Martha Stewart Crafts. Next, I decorated the holder with the handmade paper rosette. To make the rosette I just used 2 strips of 2″ by 12″ sheet music paper and accordion pleated them. Once they were pleated I glued them together with the Tacky Glue, and added my embellishments to the top. I will share some more paper flower decorations soon. There are so many ways to make them and this is just one that I use. Only 4 months, 1 week and 6 days til Christmas! Yes, I am Counting

I decided to Recycle this vintage Sewing Table into a nightstand for my Daughter’s room using her pink & black & white colors. I found the awesome Zebra stencil in Tulip® Tie-Dye Fashion Kit™. I loved the way the Zebra stencil angled on the top corners mimics the shape of the angel wings! It took several days to paint this table just because black and white are so bold, so be prepared to let the paint dry in between each layer until the desired opacity is achieved. The white polka dots were pretty fast because I just dipped the end of my paint brush into the paint and then touched it to the table, instant polka dot! Lots of fun and can’t wait to work on some smaller projects for my other kiddos

I’m working on more baby onesies and this time it is for a little prince! I printed out the Vintage Crown free download onto cotton printer fabric and then Hand Stitched the fabric crown onto the center of the onesie. Before you begin dyeing * Wear the plastic gloves included in the kit and fill the onesie with a plastic bag to protect it from bleeding* I covered the onseie in decorative tulle and sprayed Tulip® Tie-Dye Fashion Kit™ black darker on the bottom and sleeves and just misted toward the top. I then removed the tulle and covered the bottom and sleeves in the giraffe plastic template, (you can see the giraffe print easier on the back). Let dry for several hours before handling or removing the plastic bag from the inside of the onesie.

What do you do when you need to combine a baby girl and her older brother into one room? Oh, and you need it to be quick and affordable? Well, for my daughter and son’s room I decided to re-use their existing bedding, curtains and wall color. I also decided that Vintage maps would be the way to go in blue, greens and pinks. I found the Vintage North America 1775 map online and printed it out on Studio sticky back canvas. I also decided to re-use a blue embroidery hoop and some cotton fabric I already had. Then I cut out the printed map and glued it to the front of the hoop with Aleene’s® Acid-Free Tacky Glue™. To finish I lightly covered the top of the map in the glue and tied a green ribbon to the top. Voila, Quick, Eco friendly and Acid free!
Here are my supplies and the before and after photos! I hope you like!
