Christmas toys at Build a Bear!

My kids and I had fun looking through the newest catalog from Build a bear. My daughter loves the polar bear and I love the Native bear and Clarice Reindeer! The catalog came with a $5 coupon and featured tons of new Holiday bears, animals and all of the dressings! You can also sign up online for printable coupons and for birthday specials. I was really glad to find some sold out items are still available in the online store, so I won’t have to pay secondary prices!

  • Halloween costumes

If your daughter is anything like mine than they LOVE to dress up! We have had so many costumes in the past year that I thought I would share them with you and your little one. The first outfit is made to resemble the Wizard of Oz character Glinda. The crown was a quick stapled together piece of plastic acetate and crinkle gift wrap for the star. The second is a great dress up set from Easy Bake Oven – Essentials Bake wear set for $12.99! Not only does it come with the hat and apron but it also has a pot holder, oven mitt and a wooden spoon, my son and daughter both love to wear this one! The third is a really easy Hula dancer, we bought all of the leis at a party supply store, another cheap and fun costume to do. The last is a Little Red Riding Hood cape made from a Martha Stewart Fall 2003 Kids magazine the greatest capes pattern. We adore this cape! It was so quick to sew and cut out that I made 2, and she has even wanted to wear her cape to school! I hope you have a safe and Happy Fall!

  • Amy Butler Free Patterns

This gal is a true artist and has such a sweet personality too! We got to see Amy Butler 2 years in a row at International Quilt Market in Houston, and her booth is definitely The Favorite booth that we go to! I just thought I would share with everyone that she has terrific easy sew free patterns on her website. My favorite is the Charm quilt for its bright florals!

  • The Little Mermaid

Over the summer I got to make dozens of mermaid themed cards and Artist Trading Cards, ATCs, and participate in art swaps with online friends. One of those summertime inspired projects was this little mermaid ATC that I created with a vintage photo that reminded me of my little girl when she was three!
